Single size bed

Introducing my newest product:

This is a bed with a standard size of 190x90cm it has similar shape to the other beds I have in my range. Good side of this bed is that if you have mattress already that you wish to use it should fit this bed. Should you have mattress which is non-standard like 180x90 I can make this bed to fit it as well usualy with no extra charge. With this bed you can also have thames painted like winnie the pooh, fairy, butterfly etc.

Toddler Beds

Choosing the right bed for a toddler is important, there is a huge range of toddler beds available on the market.  There are a few main considerations for choosing the best bed for your toddler.  The right bed will make the transition from baby crib to grown up bed much easier so choose carefully.

Small Furniture toddler beds are smaller than an average single size bed and should last your child right through from birth until about five years of age.

When designing new piece of furniture I always have in mind child's safety. If you look on the toddler beds that I make they all are placed on the ground to help your child get in and out of their new bed with ease. You might think that you don't want for your child to "sleep on the ground" if the bed is so low. What I did is is left 6-7 cm space between ground and mattress allowing it to breath, this space will also work as insulation. Every of the beds has side panels which goes above the mattresst these help to avoid falls. Beds I offer are sturdy and easily assembled.

The transition from crib to bed can in some cases be a huge experience for a child, one that they may need to adjust to and you may need to encourage your child to sleep in their own “big boy bed” at first.

Toddler Wardrobe

I have photos of me newest product ready :) as I was already writing before it is a wardrobe designed especially for toddler use. As the wardrobe is only is 120 cm high it will give our toddler access to all they clothes, they can choose what they like to wear themselves. It also has one shelf which gives extra storage space for all items that cannot go on the hangers. Soon planing to make another wardrobe same design but with shelves only will keep you updated anyway.

As I have told you before my son has "moved" to his new room recently. Once we have decided to do so I was bit concerned if that is the right time already. Now after about 3 weeks I can only say that it was a good idea to do so he is very happy with his own room and sleeps no problem throughout whole night :).

Hi just a small update today added new product to my range it is a Bed side table.
Size is approx:
H 50
W 40
D 30

The price that I have set for it now is €39.90 as always you can choose colour and feature.

I have designed it so it would be in the same style as the other of my products like the bed, toy box etc.
The whole Idea is to have whole range made not much missing now :)

Only recently added ne product to my web store and that is a "Toddler mattress 140 x 70 cm"

Anti-allergy mattress - four layers:

- Latex mat coconut
- Polyurethane foam,
- Reinforcing ply felt mattress, protecting
   foam from water,
- Separate overlay containing buckwheat husk.

Overlay buckwheat is very easy to pull, clip-on rubber on the corners of the mattress.

Mattress thickness of about 8 cm.

Practical, double sided mattress. Thanks to the insole with natural buckwheat hulls is sewn into the cover can be replaced in case of dirty the same overlay as well as remove the cover and wash it in the washing machine.

 

It is a good staff to sleep on not just a simple foam mattress.

First Paid Add

Hi again, just a small update that today placed my first "paid" add for my business :)

As I have probably said before I am going to constantly improve my products today I found out about new method of adding graphics on furniture pieces very exited about it!! i know that it will take some time before I can use that on the staff that will go to a customer but hopefully soon enough will be able to present you some designs.

Hi just to say that tomorrow is the day that I officially start the business :)
Exited enough looking forward to get some new orders.
Also let me tell you that today finished my newest product: wardrobe this prototype I am going to keep for my son. Today we are going to start organizing his own room which up until now was the store room and the place that I have assembled most of the furniture's.
Anyway I will soon post some photos of the wardrobe that I've made it is only 120 cm high thanks to that whatever he wants to wear is at his reach now.

I have only realised that never posted a link to my website which is www.smallfurniture.info.
Today added a new product there which is a toddler bed with the shape of a car. I hope that with it's simple design will attract somebody to get one. I would only like to add that this bed is for the mattress size 140cm x 70cm which would suit kids for an age up to 5-6. The good side of this bed is that is bigger than standard cot bed so will give more room for your child and thanks to its shape will attract kids to start sleeping on their own. I know that at this stage you may think that you would better to get a single size (90cm x 190cm) bed with the car shape and you will have the thing sorted for longer. Well at first I thought same but only then I came to realize that my son will not sleep in the bed shaped like car forever so decided to do this one as an transition one. Another good side of it that it simply takes less space. For all these who cannot find the way of your child sleeping on their own that will sort out the problem :)

Hello all.

This is the first post in that blog and I certainly hope that it will not be the last. I would also hope to come over here and write a few words every now and then.

After writing this first line what came to my mind is the sentence that someone once wrote:

"I started feeling a bit uneasy about this blog today. Who will ever read it and what will those who do think?"

And I have to say that I totally agree with it so if any of you readers feels a need to make a comment under any of my future post it would be most appreciated.

Instead of writing this I should really say something about what this blog is going to be about shouldn't I? so the plan is to have this blog be a part of the business that I am about to start. At this stage you have probably stopped reading this anyway but after writing that much I feel oblight to continue for those who are still reading. The business that I am starting is called Small Furniture and as the name says I will be making furniture's. Before I will say anything more let me tell you that I came to this idea after I've made the first little bed for my son it was a bed in the shape of a race car. I can remember the way that he reacted when he first so it this for first few moments he couldn't move at all and than he started to jump all around it. Let me just tell you that it was the evening time and I was hoping that he will go sleep after that but I couldn't have been more mistaken :) so my advice is to keep that kind of gifts for the mornings. So that is how I came to the whole idea.......
